Good takeaway fish and chips. Also has a restaurant to eat in. Worth a journey for, but beware parking the station carpark opposite, they police their parking rigorously.

I'm torn on this review. Had I written it prior to yesterday, I would say that it was a great place for fried chicken. I'll still say that, but I can add that it's not so great a place for burgers.
The fried chicken is really good. They season it in the store and during slow periods of the day will cook it to order. It's worth the wait, though. I thought the fries were tasty and well-seasoned, too.
Unfortunately, we got burgers from there yesterday and they were pretty disappointing. The patties were thin commercial patties cooked on a flat griddle and fairly bland. The toppings (lettuce, cucumber, mayonnaise) were plenteous, but something was wet and made an edge of my bun a little soggy.
I will never go here for burgers, but would readily go back for fried chicken. I have a feeling that they are really good at frying. I've never had the fish, but I suspect that it is tasty. If I do make it back, I'll update my review.
